When I came back from Vietnam in the late 1960s, I spent two years in California with my family.

Now, none of my cousins, uncles or aunts lives in California any longer for the reasons letter writer Bob Turley outlined.

How Los Angeles has changed!

The handwriting is on the wall; California is finished.

I have written my U.S. representatives and Senators requesting them to bequeath California to Mexico.

Over the coming years it will become an increasing tax drain on the rest of the United States as we will struggle to support millions of illegal aliens flooding in from Mexico.

High birth rates to the welfare dependent and semi-literate, some of whom are drug-addicted gangsters, will exacerbate our tax burden.

Jettison California now!
