We reported extensively on the German home-schooling Romeike family (above) in 2013, when the Obama Administration weirdly resisted their asylum request:

Although the Obama Administration prevailed in court, it for some reason did not in the end  deport the Romeikes—seeMemo From Middle America | The Homeschooling Romeikes Allowed To Stay—To Bolster Administrative Amnesty, by Allan Wall, April 8, 2014.But now the Biden Administration is trying to do it again:Evangelical Christian family begs Biden administration to stop their deportation back to Germany where it's illegal to homeschool their kids - while MILLIONS pour across open US border, by Emma James, Daily Mail, September 25, 2023.

Background: 20th century Germany, having gone through the First and Second World Wars and being ruled by the Nazis, reacted by passing laws against various kinds of Wrongthinking, and by increasing German Federal control of education.

One of the ways the German government controls Wrongthinking: banning homeschooling.

Homeschooling is – between Schulpflicht (compulsory schooling) beginning with elementary school to 18 years – illegal in Germany. The illegality has to do with the prioritization of children's rights over the rights of parents: children have the right to the company of other children and adults who are not their parents. For similar reasons, parents cannot opt their children out of sexual education classes because the state considers a child's right to information to be more important than a parent's desire to withhold it.[21]

The Border Patrol has a new Border Patrol Chief, and I admit that I am deeply skeptical of him. Earlier by Edward Dutton: “Brave And Kind”—Remembering Richard Lynn

Finally ending the Orwellian situation where Wikipedia couldn’t acknowledge evolutionary psychologist Richard Lynn’s passing because it won’t link to Politically Incorrect sources like VDARE.com or American Renaissance, a Main Stream Media outlet has published an obituary, more than a month after he died [Richard Lynn, evolutionary psychologist who declared his belief in the benefits of eugenics—obituary, The Telegraph, August 31, 2023]. But as Danish independent researcher Emil Kirkegaard, who worked with Lynn, has pointed out, the British newspaper’s send-off was quite an astonishing piece.

It’s as if the anonymous writer wants the readers to realize that Lynn was logically correct, and wants them to read his research themselves. However, he also understands that he must disguise this desire as a Politically Acceptable condemnation of Lynn, though it is a condemnation that the intelligent reader—or the reader “in the know”—will be able to “see through.”

Kirkegaard’s term “Straussian” refers to German political philosopher Leo Strauss (1899-1973), who taught political philosophy at the University of Chicago. Strauss argued that great thinkers are socially and politically pressured not to openly express radical and original ideas. Accordingly, as one commentator puts it, “what they really think is true is found between the lines and often contradicts what they seem to say in the actual lines” [What is Straussianism (According to Strauss)?, by Peter Augustine Lawler, Society, 2011].

Thus, The Telegraph’s obituary begins with Lynn’s own words:

“Evolutionary progress means the extinction of the less competent,” he said. “To think otherwise is mere sentimentality.”

For all but the most emotional Leftist, the controversial nature of such a view, and that a senior academic held it, is spine-tingling clickbait.

The first paragraph went on to emphasize just what a notorious scientist Lynn was:

[H]is belief in the value of genetic selection to improve the quality of the human population, led to his being described as “one of the most unapologetic and raw ‘scientific’ racists operating today” and as an “unapologetic eugenicist.” [Both descriptions courtesy of the SPLC]

Sunday’s astonishing news that Joe Biden may be lagging Donald Trump in 2024 election by as much as ten percentage points [Post-ABC poll: Biden faces criticism on economy, immigration and age, Washington Post, September 24, 2023] (when has Trump ever been ahead in polls?) is provoking understandable panic and denial in the Leftist media [Poll showing Trump up 10 points over Biden for 2024 election criticized, by Maya Yang, Guardian, September 24, 2023]. But is it a surprise? More illegal aliens than ever before are crossing over. The Border Patrol doesn’t have enough detention space and immediately releases them. “Sanctuary Cities” can no longer handle the new arrivals and beg Biden to do something. And he has: in little-reported September 21 remarks to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Gala, he said in effect that rape is inevitable and America should lie back and enjoy it.

Specifically, he plans to issue work permits to nearly 500,000 Venezuelan illegals—a de facto Amnesty that will encourage more to come. But it’s in keeping with Biden’s general response to the crisis. The president always figures out new ways to legalize illegals. This is why he must be impeached.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, a Cuban-Jewish immigrant and unindicted visa fraudster, announced Temporary Protected Status to 470,000 Venezuelan “asylum seekers” for 18 months “based on Venezuela’s increased instability and lack of safety due to the enduring humanitarian, security, political, and environmental conditions” [Secretary Mayorkas Announces Extension and Redesignation of Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status, DHS.gov, September 20, 2023]. They also get work permits. Technically, because the illegals are applying for asylum, it’s not an Amnesty. But that’s a distinction without a difference. Illegals file bogus asylum claims to get their foot in the door, and the Regime is only too happy to oblige.

The Regime will also expedite work-permit applications for Venezuelan illegals who entered the county via U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s One Mobile app or through the parole program [Biden Administration to Offer Work Permits to Roughly 470,000 Venezuelan Migrants, by Michelle Hackman, Wall Street Journal, September 20, 2023].

Earlier: The ATLANTIC Wants To Cancel Richard Hanania’s THE ORIGINS OF WOKE

The Race Denialists are at it again. Black academic Tyler Austin Harper [Email him] (right) has attacked Richard Hanania’s new book The Origins of Woke as an “intellectual and moral failure,” in part because it has highlighted black-white differences in IQ [An Intellectual and a Moral Failure, The Atlantic, September 18, 2023]. It was the elite Leftist magazine’s second attack on Hanania: staff writer Adam Serwer (black and Jewish) targeted him three days earlier in a broadside against The Young Conservatives Trying to Make Eugenics Respectable Again. But as VDARE.com’s Steve Sailer has observed, the black-white IQ gap is probably “the best documented finding in U.S. social science.”

Now a new study from A Genetic Hypothesis for American Race/Ethnic Differences in Mean g [Mankind Quarterly, June 2023] proves again that it really matters.

The term “g” stands for “general intelligence,” which underlies verbal, spatial and mathematical intelligence. It explains why people who score highly in one kind of intelligence test usually score highly on the others. It is strongly genetic.

The study was published in the “controversial” Mankind Quarterly—likely, in part, because the better-known journals have been hijacked by Woke activists pretending to be scholars.

Drawing upon the “Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study,” which sampled more than 10,000 Americans, the authors carefully examined the relationship between self/parental-identified race or ethnicity (called SIRE in the jargon) and key variables. These included the intelligence test administered as part of cognitive study. The authors also explored race differences in many other brain-related measures.

To say that the authors refuted

[Adapted from the latest Radio Derb, now available exclusively on VDARE.com]

There are currently three world-wide waves of illegal immigration roaring up the beach:

The three waves involve different governments with different approaches.

  • That first wave, the one crashing on the EU, is of course the concern of the EU government.

The EU government, however, is a flimsy and ineffectual thing, always being buffeted here and there by the politics of the member states; so this is politically the most complicated of the three waves.

  • Responsibility for dealing with the second, smaller wave—the one heading north across the English Channel—falls on the UK government.
  • And the third wave, the one right now drowning our southern border, is all ours!

So how are these governmental authorities—the EU and its member states, the U.K., and the USA—how are they dealing with these three great waves of people from latrine-pit countries seeking security and prosperity for themselves in our advanced Liberal Democracies?

They’re doing badly—really badly.

Why? Is there a common factor? Is there some one thing in the public life of Germany, France, Italy, the U.K., and the USA that’s preventing them from coping with the great waves?

I think I can name at least two, maybe three common factors.

  • One: the dogma of rights, as in ”Civil Rights” and ”Human Rights.”

See below.

  • Two: guilt.
