An article in the on-line edition of the (UK) Spectator provides some supporting evidence from India for the thesis of Steve Sailer's "Importing Mexico's Worsening Racial Inequality."  Note in particular that the Indian upper castes are assumed to be lighter skinned and especially the last two sentences, in which the author refers to the very white Sonia Gandhi and writes, "Had she been a Congolese (no disrespect intended), you can be sure that she would have remained an ordinary widow after Rajiv Gandhi's assassination. But then, had she been a Congolese, he wouldn't have married her in the first place."
