Here are a few:

James Fulford writes: The idea that "birthright" citizenship is a form of squatter's rights is attractive. And the travelling thing brings up a point that people are born wherever their family happens to be at the time.

Many Americans are born on Army bases overseas, but don't consider themselves citizens of that country. The joke is that if you were born in, say, Tokyo, like Liv Ullman, and people ask "Why were you born there?", you just look at them and say "I wanted to be near my mother."
