At least this nominally breaks the curious preference the RNC had developed for not choosing from their key constituency for this high profile position - the last three elected Chairmen have been Black, Hispanic and Jewish. And the Neocon intrigue to make it four with Norm Coleman failed.
But since Priebus was up to his neck in the Steele Chairmanship, probably the widely suspected financial oddities will be covered up. And the RNC tradition of racial pandering/supporter betrayal will still be there, if latently.
