Her name is Nancy Horton: An 80-year old grandmother brutally murdered by two black males during a home invasion in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Horton was found dead in her home after Roger Letroy Wilkerson and an unidentified juvenile suspect broke in on Tuesday, September 20th.

Wilkerson is a career criminal. At the time of Horton’s murder, he was out on bond following a prior breaking and entering charge caught last year.

Following an exercise of multiple search warrants, police took custody of Wilkerson, who now faces charges related to firearms, breaking and entering into motor vehicles, drug dealing, and resisting arrest in addition to breaking and entering into Horton’s home and murder charges.

• Possession of a firearm by a felon
• Breaking and entering to motor vehicles
• Carrying concealed pistol/gun
• Possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Simple Possession of Schedule III and IV and
• Resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer.

The Person County Sheriff's Office announced that it is taking out a juvenile petition for the second suspect in Horton’s death.
