Low Confidence In The Pro-Immigration Media

As someone who watches national and local TV news daily - and whose first exposure to a newspaper each morning comes from the Atlanta Journal Constitution - the news today that the public’s confidence in newspapers and TV news in general is declining does not come as much of a surprise.

The results of a recent Gallup Poll as reported by the Editor and Publisher today:

“Those having a "great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in newspapers dipped from 30% to 28% in one year, the same total for television. The previous low for newspapers was 29% in 1994. Since 2000, confidence in newspapers has declined from 37% to 28%, and TV from 36% to 28%, according to the poll.”

Could the recently proposed McKennedy [Thank you, Rosemary Jenks ] amnesty for illegal aliens, the fact that despite the MSM doing its best to hide the fact that we are losing our nation because of the President’s refusal to secure our borders or enforce many of our laws have anything to do with this decline?

Bush, the now multi-constitutional Supreme Court and a pandering Congress aren’t doing too well in the public’s opinion either:

“Confidence in the presidency plunged from 52% to 44%, with Congress and the criminal-justice system also suffering 8% drops. Confidence in the U.S. Supreme Court fell from 46% to 41%. The 22% confidence rating for Congress is its lowest in eight years, and self-identified Republicans have only a slightly more positive view of the institution than do Democrats”.

I note that the Gallup folks made Congress and big-business separate groups…with both getting the same low score - “Big business and Congress (both at 22%) …”

From here in Georgiafornia , we note that the two could have easily been combined into one category.

Apparently you really can’t fool all of the people all of the time.

Suggestion to all of the above, to raise your approval ratings, why not try this as a last resort? Tell the truth, obey your oaths of office and put America and our rule of law first. It could work.
