Just read your latest on doctors and race. As always, great work.

You also might want to take a look at how often South Asian physicians get arrested for things like sexual assault and medicare crime. A good test of this is to plug a typical south asian surname, like Patel, into the google search phrase “Dr. _____ arrested”.

Here are the top ten Indian surnames in the USA:
1. Patel
2. Singh
3. Shah
4. Khan
5. Rao
6. Desai
7. Kumar
8. Shara
9. Gupta
10. Mehta

I’ve done this with each of them and each one searched brings back multiple examples of South Asian physicians gone wild. The most common crimes are groping female patients, medicare fraud and killing patients through gross negligence .

For example, over the past decade, several Dentist Patels across the USA have been arrested for groping patients, but there was one in Connecticut who killed a patient while trying to remove 20 teeth at once. Of course, let’s not forget the anesthesiologist Patel tried to kill his family by driving his Tesla off the Devil’s Slide near Half Moon Bay.

The same search works for Pakistani names, like Mallik and Muhammad. Lots of groping, negligence and fraud.

East Asian doctors, like Zhang and Wong, are mostly involved in medicare fraud, almost never sexual perversion. And the typical white named physicians, Smith, Jones and Johnson, are almost entirely pill addicts who get popped for drunk driving and, occasionally, for running prescription factories, although, again, the Asians, south and east, are much more likely to be involved in that too.

My biggest takeaway is that I’d never, ever, let a female relative go to a South Asian doctor of any sort. The second biggest is that Americans pay a very high price for medical care, not just in terms of money, but also in terms of damage to our social fabric.

I’ve noticed that Medicare fraud tends to be our society’s most multicultural endeavor: it’s always like 4 Nigerians, 3 Hindus, 2 Somalis, a Russian, a Ukrainian, and a Sikh getting arrested for scamming in a crutch business or something.
