A new weekly feature here at VDARE.com will be documenting the total number of fatal and nonfatal shootings in Chicago. A city roughly 33 percent white/33 percent Hispanic/33 percent black, Chicago has one of highest body counts every year, with the brown and black population overwhelmingly responsible for these fatal and nonfatal shootings.

If it’s a three-day holiday weekend (think Labor Day), we’ll publish on Tuesday.

The last year we have clear data on the race of suspects in Chicago shootings comes back in 2011, when the Chicago Police Department confirmed 95 percent of homicide suspects are black or brown. Whites were only four percent [Blake Masters IS RIGHT! “Black People, Frankly” DO Commit Almost All Gun Crime In U.S., by Jack Dalton, VDARE.com, June 23, 2022].

HeyJackAss.com, which has been hilariously documenting shootings in Chicago for years, confirms this number is basically the same for 2020, with blacks responsible 77.8 percent of shootings and Hispanics 16.6 percent.

So, what were the numbers like for August 18-August 21, 2022?:

A 6-year-old girl is among at least 37 people who have been shot, four fatally, since Friday evening across Chicago.

More than a quarter of the victims were wounded in two mass shootings that wounded five people each in Washington Park on the South Side and East Garfield Park on the West Side.

Four people were killed in attacks this weekend. Three of those murders happened in a two-hour span from late Saturday into early Sunday.

The youngest person shot was a 6-year-old girl wounded in West Englewood. She was shot in her arm around 6:30 p.m. Saturday while standing near the street in the 7200-block of South Racine Avenue, police said. She was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition. Police reported no arrests. She was the twelfth child shot in Chicago in the last week, according to Sun-Times data.

Two mass shootings

In the first mass shooting, a man was killed and four others wounded Friday evening in Homan Square on the West Side. They were standing outside a home in the 3300-block of West Flournoy Street at 6 p.m. when a vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, police said. A man, 33, was shot several times and died at Mount Sinai Hospital. He has not yet been identified. Four other men, 31 to 56 years old, were shot and listed in good condition.

The question we aren’t supposed to ask: Had the great replacement not occurred in Chicago (Chicago was 92 percent white in 1940, just before our entry into World War II), would we have any need to be tallying up fatal/nonfatal shootings in the Second City as sport?

No. Not at all.
