Apparently another Racial Spoils battle has brewed up at the Smithsonian Institute, the world's largest museum, education, and research complex.

In late April I noted in Smithsonian Dumping Nancy Yao For Black/Lesbian Women’s Museum Director? Why Not A White? that the Chinese-American lady appointed in March in a blatantly anti–White American move to head the new American Women’s History Museum looked about to be replaced. Ostensibly this would be because of a number of trivial Politically Incorrect allegations. Actually I think the Black Chiefs of the Smithsonian want the job for one of their own.

Now word has leaked out that The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art is looking for a new director—again: Ngaire Blankenberg quietly left the institution at the end of March, Helen Stollas, The Art Newspaper, May 9, 2023.

Ngaire Blankenberg who took up the post in July 2021… left the museum at the end of this March… sources have told The Art Newspaper that Blankenberg was pushed to resign.

Blankenberg, who in her press releases and comments insinuates she is Black and African, was born in Winnipeg, Canada of a white mother and a Colored Albino father, both South African. (“Cape Coloreds” in South Africa are a distinct ethnic group with a substantial [up to maybe 40%] European and Asian admixture.) She looks mainly white.

She is, however, a 100% anti-white Vengeance Crusader. Within a couple of weeks of taking control of the Museum of African Art she had removed their collection of Benin Bronzes and about a year later engineered their return to Nigeria.

Her reason seemed to be that repressing the memory that the British conquered Nigeria was more important than letting the public (some presumably black) see these masterpieces—ever. National Museum of African Art Director Says Showing Benin Bronzes Does Harm, by Helen Holmes, Observer, November 11, 2021.

Unsurprisingly, the Bronzes returned look now to be in the process of being stolen: Nigeria Benin Bronzes: Buhari declaration blindsides’ museum officials, BBC News, May 10, 2023.

Another sense of Blankenberg’s interests derives from her statement on being hired: Ngaire Blankenberg Named Director of Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art: My Main Priority is to Hire More BIPOC Staff in Positions of Power, by Victoria L. Valentine, Culture Type, July 16, 2021.

With these political and racial attitudes why has Ngaire Blankenberg been fired?

My guess is she was too white. The Culture Type article above quotes both Lonnie Bunch, Smithsonian Secretary and Deborah Mack, the preceding interim director, both visibly black, whining about there being too few blacks in the Institution.

The Smithsonian is being operated on a racial spoils system. This looks like being true of 21st century as a whole. I repeat: Tell GOP Regents To Defend White America At Minority-Occupied Smithsonian Museum!
