With everything else going on in the world, invasion USA, invasion Europe, defending Ukraine’s borders and not our own, the impeachment of the most corrupt President in the history of the republic, the dollar losing its status as the reserve currency, etc. … It’s easy for other things to fly under the radar.

When the Department of Homeland Security was formed, critics noted the Orwellian sounding name of it. Pat Buchanan said that he was under the impression that the purpose of the Department of Defense was to secure the homeland.

Not to let Orwell peacefully rest in his grave, the Department of Homeland Security tried to establish a “Disinformation Governance Board” last year. It got shot down as an attempt at making the “Ministry of Truth” [ Joe Biden’s ‘Ministry of Truth,’ by Joe Concha, The Hill, May 1, 2022].

Do you think Mayorkas and company gave up at that? Of course not; they are at it again.

Now they are trying to make something called “Homeland Intelligence Experts” group. Ironically, they are appointing some of the “experts” who claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation [Mayorkas Names Russia Hoaxers, Laptop Deniers Brennan, Clapper to Intelligence ‘Experts’ Panel, by Joel B.  It is incredible that anyone would give these “experts” the time of day. How is it they are granted any integrity at all? Their only expertise seems to be in lying and Uniparty propaganda.

The Democrats are great at staying on the offensive and continuously on the attack. They sense the economy may crash, so, they are already saying it’s the fault of the House Republicans, who are too focused on impeachment to deal with the looming crisis of inflation. The good news is that some Republicans are fighting back [House Republicans push to ban DHS from establishing another ’Disinformation Governance Board,’ by Gabe Kaminsky, Washington Examiner, September 14, 2023]. The bad news is that they are always on the defensive. You cannot win a war by only playing defense. Ask the French how that Maginot Line worked out.

Homeland Security, the FBI and all “intelligence” agencies are under pressure to find “White Supremacists” as they have been called the greatest threat to the United States. As a result, they find what they are supposed to find. However, one of my friends who saw some of the FBI’s analysis of White Supremacists groups said their intel was a bunch of crap. It’s clear they (the FBI) are grasping at straws hoping to find some real Neo-Nazis or KKK members and they can’t. There are simply not enough violent white psychos out there. As a result, they are left scouring message boards hoping to find a white guy willing to kidnap a governor, or threaten to shoot a politician (Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell take your pick). They are praying for another Dylann Roof or El Paso shooter, so they can go after the Republican base … which of course means white males.
